An Island, a (few) Fruity Drinks, and a Big FUCKING Parachute

Waking up in Norwegian’s private island was awesome!! We took a tender from the ship to the island of Great Stirrup Cay and checked in for our excursion. After checking in for parasailing, we walked around the shops, Sammi got her hair braided, and we ran into Chris and Brady and went to get some tacos (which were DELICIOUS)!
Now, we are ready for parasailing!!!! We headed out on the water and got more excited as couples went up into the sky one by one!! Now it is our turn… we get strapped in, sit down on the back of the boat, and off we goooo, but WAIT where’s the sunscreen?! Being up in the sky is so incredibly peaceful and beautiful!! It really took our breath away! Near the end of the ride we got dipped into the beautiful ocean and then we STUCK THE LANDING back on the boat.
Laying out and being in the ocean here we come!!! We found some beach chairs and headed straight for the water! After a couple of hours enjoying the beautiful waters and grabbing some lunch, Dillon and I headed over to the meeting place for the jet skis/wave runners. We walked over to the lockers, got our life jackets on, watched the safety video, and we were ready to go, but the weather had a different plan for us. Unfortunately, thunder, lightning, and rain started so they had to cancel the jet skis, which was a real bummer because we were really looking forward to them. We aren’t talking about a little thunder, we mean this storm was ANGRY and right above us!
We headed back to the ship on the tender, and realized Dillon got sunburned reallllllyyyyyy badly (I guess no more sun for him… good thing there is a casino and A/C where we are going tomorrow)! After dinner, it’s a gooooooodddddd night for us!
